F.O.D develops an integrated system for the automated detection of foreign object debris and anomalies on airport runways, based on drones, ground vehicles, multiple sensors and advanced digital infrastructure.

SIATI will lead the build of the data collection and processing architecture, with GPU clusters, Kubernetes, distributed storage, low-latency communications and full management of multi-sensor campaigns.
The project will also support sensor fusion, pre-processing and dataset preparation for AI, contributing to the integration and tuning of the models used to detect objects and anomalies in the airport environment.
