ANTEATER is an OSINT technology built for the systematic collection, organisation and analysis of the vast amount of information now available from open sources: the Internet, social networks, public databases, registries, documents, websites, technical repositories, institutional sources and many other digital resources continuously generate potentially relevant information.

The problem is therefore no longer just finding the data: the real challenge is identifying what matters within the informational noise, connecting apparently unrelated pieces of information and understanding what they mean within a specific scenario.

This is exactly where ANTEATER sits: the technology is designed to support the search, acquisition, classification, correlation and interpretation of information from open sources. Another field of interest is critical and digital infrastructure, where knowledge of the external environment is an integral part of risk assessment.

ANTEATER can also be applied to the analysis of hybrid threats, which are defined precisely by the overlap of digital, economic, technological, informational and geopolitical dimensions. The same methodology is valuable in aerospace, drones and autonomous systems, where technical, operational and industrial information is often scattered across many different sources.

There is also a competitive and technology intelligence dimension: the ability to monitor emerging technologies, patents, companies, startups, research programmes and partnerships makes it possible to understand much faster how a given technology ecosystem is evolving.
